Trust Your Instincts

Posted by justinlladoc at 05:59 AM on November 28, 2009.

The dawn of next year is rushing in, and I feel like I've gone through so much change in my life as of late! It's a little awkward that I'm shedding some skin, changing territories and occupying new roles at the penultimate month of the year (clearly not following the flow of the calendar year). I've changed companies, I got a new office and I met some new people. I'm a fish out of water, again, and I'm raring to breathe and adjust. It's just so different, Del Monte and P&G, they're a universe apart and whilst I managed to maintain all other variables constant: my friends, my house, heck even my password, it's still overwhelming to handle. Leaving my friends is the one big leap I had to do, but I believe in the power of relationships, in its capacity to transcend offices, boundaries. I hope I regain the strength to endure these adjustment pains, and get out of it sooner than I think.

Arrival in its pristine sands

First day snorkeling in its famous dive sites

Care to join me?

HongKong/Macau was unforgettable because of all the adventures I went through with friends (and all the antics we pulled off to escape the deadly prices!). We still blow our heads off laughing about what we did in Yau Ma Tei station, in Disney, how late we went home from Macau only to find out the MTR in Hong Kong was closed. On a more recent note, Boracay was pure indulgence and comfort, the one single place that never lets me down, with its palm trees, powdery sand and amazing dive sites. In our 4-day stay, all our meals were buffet, and the hotel we stayed in had fabulous service. And to top it all off, this paradise on earth is only an hour away from Manila. I couldn't ask for more. Enjoy the pictures!

Le Soleil Buffet: My Ultimate Fave Buffet in Bora!

One Lazy Afternoon

I'm going to Davao City for the first time next week. And though I know it's work, I've heard so many good things about this metropolitan down south. All in all, I'm happy for the travels I've done and the great number of friends I've made. I'm blessed. Leaving all inhibitions, doubts and fears behind, and looking forward to what fate has in store for me will be the theme of the last rocking month of this year. Take the leap, trust your instincts and breathe life into everything.
